As the summer holidays get closer, and the time when the kids will be off school creeps nearer, there’s always a need to find things for them to do during the holidays. As we think you know by now, here at Berg Toys we love getting kids out and about, using their bodies, and burning energy, as they play with our famous Berg Go-karts. But if you’re looking to treat the little darlings to the real thing, and you live in or around Scotland, you’re in luck. The very first go-kart track has just opened in Stevenston, thanks to Mr Scott McGlinchey, his three- year bid, and tonnes of hard work, to get West Coast Karts up and running. The ideas behind the centre are those that prove that even in the midst of a recession, small businesses can start up, and flourish in their first few months of trading. Mr McGlinchey is also delighted to be able to say that his is the only go-kart centre in Scotland, where people of all ages can enjoy the karts and state-of-the-art facilities that he has to offer, all in a safe and controlled environment.
