Schools ban popular children’s toys
It’s a story we hear time and time again; a craze hits children all over the UK, whether it be an item of clothing, a toy, or a collectable, they bring them to school, and the school bans the item from the site. This age-old conundrum of battling against the fashion, or indulging your children, is a tricky one, and many agree with the confiscation of these toys or items, as they can cause arguments between pupils, and tensions between those comparing their wares. Schools also have the added worry of toys and other in-fashion items causing an unwanted distraction in lessons, making the job of many teachers extremely difficult.
We at Berg Toys would love to know your views on this- are you a parent who has had to buy all the in-fashion toys, only to find that your child cannot share them with their friends at school? Are you a teacher who has had to deal with waves of fads coming through your classroom, and have devised ways in which to combat the distraction factor for kids? Whatever your stance or story on this issue, we’d love to hear from you, so please do get in touch!
