Here at Berg Toys, there’s nothing we’re more passionate about than getting kids out and about, burning some of that endless supply of energy that always seems to be in store, and making sure they have a jolly good old time whilst doing it. Of course, Berg go-karts are one way in which this is possible, with their nifty design making them ideal for children of all ages, but with the summer holidays coming up, we know that you may need a little more to keep them occupied for all those weeks…so let us inform you of some of the best activities going on throughout the UK during July and August, all of which will help keep the kids busy, and you can have some fun too!

Take your kids to a water park: With a variety of locations and types of activities on offer at each one, water parks in the UK are generally well-run, safe for the kids (in case they get separated from you), and some offer really good group discounts.

Put on a puppet show: Grab yourself some felt, some lolly sticks, a bit of glitter (and whatever other handicraft materials you have around the house), and a giant cardboard box, and let their imaginations do the rest! You’ll be amazed what the kids come up with when they really put their energy into it.

Enrol in a reading scheme: For the moments when they’re a bit calmer, the summer reading scheme at your local library will provide a variety of reading material for all age groups. Why not take the books to the park and enjoy the sunshine?
